Reply - How to reply an email via Mutant Mail

This article guides you through the steps to reply to an email handled by MutantMail. This allows you to reply maintaining your alias persona without revealing your destination email address.

We make it simple.

Each email handled by Mutant Mail has a From: header set. This header will look something like this:

From: <alias+hello=example.com@toolzweb.com>

Where hello@example.com is the address of the person who sent you the email and alias@toolzweb.com is the recipient alias persona.

All you need to do is click reply in your email client or web mail & it will automatically maintain your alias persona.

Your destination (hello@example.com) will receive email from (alias@toolzweb.com) in this case, instead of your control/destination/recipient mailbox.

To check if a reply has worked properly check in your dashboard if the reply count has been incremented for that alias.
